Flower Hill Farm Retreat Autumn Gardens

Autumn is truly magical here at Flower Hill Farm Retreat.  The hills become ablaze with colors of oranges, reds and yellows.  Beginning in late September, and through November, the palette of the landscape is inspiring.  Apples are falling from fruit trees and wildlife sightings are thrilling.  Monarch butterflies emerge in the gardens and fields.  Some visiting butterflies are passing through on their way to Mexico.  Falling leaves become leafy carpets to walk through.  Here at Flower Hill Farm Retreat we do not rake up the leaves.  Many creatures use them as protection from the cold winter months.  Also, the sounds of walking and frolicking through leaves are timeless and fun.  I hope you enjoy some of the moments captured during autumn at Flower Hill Farm Retreat.
