Flower Hill Farm Winter Gardens

Winter can be beautiful and a time to rest with the many dormant creatures in the gardens and forest. Snow covers the landscape and inspires creativity indoors by the warmth of a fire. When snow sticks to the trunks and branches of trees and shrubs, it is a world of white crisp flowers. Blankets partly covering boulders and spreading down the hillside protect a diversity of life dormant beneath thick crystals. The mowed fields become like a blank canvas, with dancing shadows stretching across the stubbles of native plants. It is lovely time of year to be here.
