Flower Hill Farm Retreat offers accommodations of rustic simplicity within a restored 1790 farmhouse and studio, situated on an east facing hillside fifteen minutes west of Northampton, Massachusetts. The perfect escape for those suffering from nature-deficit disorder. Exceptional views along with rambling organic gardens, wildflower and blueberry fields, and an enchanting forest surround the Flower Hill Farm Retreat and are home to a diverse wildlife habitat. Carol has sighted and documented here on this site, over seventy species of birds and over fifty species of butterflies from walks through Flower Hill Farm’s landscape. Many of the sightings and photographs taken happened while just looking out the windows.
For twenty years Carol has welcomed guests from around the world. The antique farmhouse offers a charming downstairs two bedroom apartment. Our private and airy ‘writing studio’ is between the farmhouse and barn studio. Both the Studio and Downstairs spaces offer air-conditioning, WiFi, and can be private retreats for individuals, or, combined and rented as one house for larger groups or families. A Dining Room becomes part of the booking when Studio and Downstairs are combined. Flower Hill Farm has laundry facilities which are available on site by appointment. Please look over our RATES and POLICIES page for more information. We would love to welcome you to our little paradise. Any questions? Call 413-268-7481 or EMAIL – firstname.lastname@example.org
The downstairs apartment is the antique part of the house. These accommodations offer stunning views through an eastern wall of windows. Off of the living room is a queen bedroom and an additional very small double bedroom. A full bathroom includes a fiberglass bathtub and shower. A simple vegetarian kitchen holds adequate cookware and dishes. The living room fireplace works and may be used seasonally, only on approval, for an extra fee to help with cost of wood. Please ask about the fireplace if it is an important reason you are booking. Due to unforeseen weather conditions we cannot promise ahead that it can be used. Rates and Policies
