finds like this is the magic of summer.
I saw one of these beauties at my house not long ago, and that’s fairly unusual. Our newish subdivision is lacking in tall trees, and they don’t seem to like it here much. This gave me hope that maybe the trees are finally growing up enough to attract better birds. We’ve even seen blue jays this year, along with the goldfinches that have always hung around. It’s a colorful bird year here!
